Apparently there's no more conversations being written, either.  I was just at my brother-in-law's birthday party, and a conversation I overheard between my sister and a few of her friends was nearly identical to a conversation I listened to in a car between MillMan, S, and Driusan.

I'm pretty sure I saw ana and toxicfur at the back of the Zeitgeist during my set, but I didn't get a chance to say hi to them before they disappeared. And nobody showed up for any of my music that mattered. But there will be MP3s eventually anyway.

Anyway, 12 hours and it's back to Seattle. Whee!

I have not one but three gigs in Boston this coming weekend.

(Aside to Seattle infidels: I will also have a local gig sometime in early/mid September.)

For those of you in NYC who wanted to meet up with me before I leave for Seattle, I'm having a little get-together at the Limerick Pub on 23rd street (between 5th and 6th avenue, across from the Outback Steakhouse) next Tuesday (the 24th) at 7PM.

It appears 99% likely that your fine city will become a little bit more plaid in a month or so.

I will be in San Francisco from Saturday the 16th to Tuesday the 26th, visiting friends and family (and also there for a job interview with a particularly well-known Internet company, but that's almost incidental, really).

I will likely have plenty of free time with which to meet up with people. (Though apparently some of my SongFight friends have already spoken for the more lucrative chunks of it, so act fast!)

Hey, has anyone had any luck adding an APIC (Attached PICture) frame to an mp3 in a UNIX-based operating system (Linux, Mac OS X, etc.) from the command line?

I have a bunch of mp3s with cover art images as separate .jpgs which would be a pain in the butt to do manually in e.g. iTunes, but neither id3v2 nor PyID3 want to do things like, oh, work.
