How about splitting the various hotlisty tracker things into separate boxes for those of us who like to see both new replies and new subscribed diaries, without having to, like, think about it?

Seems like it'd be a pretty simple thing to do for someone who can actually be bothered to parse through Scoop, and would have huge usability improvements.

I Am Anti-Hotlist. by CheeseburgerBrown (6.00 / 2) #2 Sat Jan 17, 2004 at 04:03:05 PM EST
As someone who uses no hotlists at all, I can say without a word of regret that my feelings on this matter can be best summarised by the phrase complete apathy.

Thank you for your time.

I just noticed that editorial comments don't show up even though I've got View: set to mixed. Kind of odd.

They don't by hulver (6.00 / 2) #6 Sun Jan 18, 2004 at 02:30:54 AM EST
In posted stories, only stories in the Q.

If you want to see editorial comments in posted stories, you have to set your view to "Editorial Only"

You can use "All comments" to see editorial and topical simultaneously, even in posted stories.

Are quite DB intensive, they would slow down your page views quite a lot.

I'm working on some caching code which might help, but it's far from ready.
